Busy schedule of events attracts young, old
Food, fun, family
Clockwise, from top left: A father and son enjoy a special
moment together at the Reunion amidst the sights and sounds
of the living museum. It’s spit and polish time for one of the
exhibits. Wayne Lowe comandeers the horse drawn plow dur
ing the Friday demonstration. The sawmill was up and running
and as usual attracted a good deal of attention from onlookers.
A familiar sight at the Reunion is Ross Calder, the event’s town
crier, who tours around the site and keeps everyone informed
about the various activities taking place, where they’re happen
ing and when. Shriners Fred Lewis, left and Ted East were at
the fryer on Friday for the Shriner’s fish fry. And one couple
shows how difficult it is to sit still at the Reunion with so much
great music keeping the place jumping from start to finish.
