At just 28, Stephen Tiffin has been
involved with the Huron Pioneer Thresher
Reunion and Hobby Show for more than a
decade.
His participation began in the late 1980s
when his uncle operated the flea market at
the September show'.
In 1989, Tiffin took over the handling of
the division when he turned 18.
Through his 10 years, he has maintained
the motto of “100 per cent heritage or
antique items only” for the flea market.
The market has averaged about a dozen
vendors over the years, but Tiffin says
there may be a higher number this year as
he has received more requests than usual.
A veteran of the show. Tiffin became a
member of the board of directors for two
years in the early 1990s then resigned the
position in 1995 to take over the job of
treasurer from Carman Craig. Tiffin is one

bookkeeping job is done.
One reason Craig relinquished the task
