CULL, George (also known to his
family as Geo.., Big G., Geordy,
Georgio, Gregor, Walt, Joking Jo,
and, on occasion, Yelly Man) who
died of an aneurysm on July 24,
1998.
In 1992, on the 125th Anniversary
of East Wawanosh Township, you
stood on the stage of the Belgrave
arena in a top hat and beard
between Reeve Ernie Snell and a
group of wide-eyed children.
Together, you threw a giant switch
to light up an enormous birthday
cake, and the celebrations began.
All your days, you lit up the lives
of others. You planned and planted,
and moved and improved, and
conducted and loved and valued the
important things of life ~ rocks and
trees and parks, and teaching and
musicals and choirs, and most of
all, people, young and old. You
came into a room like sunshine.
- Remembered everyday by Chris,
Patrick, Tom, Andrew, family and
friends.
Your absence is like the sky,
spread over everything.

MEMORIAM
McCOOL. For Berthena McCool
(Cruickshank) who passed away
July 21, 1998.
One year ago, yet it seems like
weeks
You were taken from your pain,
Gone to the world of eternal peace
Never to return again.
An empty seat at our table
Your slippers in your drawer,
But your memories, they’re here
with us
With the clothes that you once
wore.
We miss your beautiful blue eyes
We miss your humour too,
Our house is now so lonely
Because there is no you.
You'll never see us marry
Grandkids you will not hold.
It’s left us feeling sad inside
It’s left us feeling cold.
We know that you’re okay Mom
You’re out of pain now wife
We’ll meet again, I hope sometime
Maybe in another life.
- Missing you, love Bob, Rob and
Angela McCool. 29-1
WALDEN. In loving memory of a
dear husband, Lloyd who passed
away July 23, 1993 and a dearly
loved son Garth who passed away
September 5, 1998.
Ever Close in Mind and Heart
No further away than a picture,
A smile or remembered phrase,
Our loved ones live in memory -
So close in so many ways.
For how often does a sunset
Bring nostalgic thoughts to mind
Of moments that our loved ones
shared
In days now left behind!
How often has a flower
Or a crystal autumn sky
Brought golden recollections
Of happy days gone by!
Yes, memory has a magic way
Of keeping loved ones near -
Ever close in mind and heart
Are the ones we hold most dear.
Marjorie Frances Aines
- Ever remembered and loved by
Mary and family. 29-lp
