July 6-8. The popular show brings approximately 400 canine entrants in numerous categories for each day's events. New for this year will be the herding demonstrations. Featuring many breeds, the animals will put on their show at the south ball diamond at 7 p.m. Wed nesday evening. An interesting feature will be the junior handling competition which judges youngsters' showmanship instead of the dogs. It will take place on Wednesday, around noon, inside the arena. This year’s specific breed exhibitions and booster show is sponsored by the Australian Cattle Dog Club of Canada. The goal of the special breeds exhibitions is to encourage ownership of the breed as well as provide special awards for the breeds represented. For the participants in the obedience trials, two competitions will run simultaneously, through the first two days, allowing competitors to enter five trials instead of two. The best-in-show competition will be held each day from approximately 4 p.m. to 4:30. Spectators will have the opportunity to see the best seven dogs of the day. The park is open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., with admission fees set at $2 for adults and $ l for children. Any children, under 12, accompanied by an adult, are admitted free. All gate proceeds go to the Huronia Humane Society. Any profits realized from entrants' fees will be divided by the Bluewater Kennel Club, amongst the humane society, Canine Vision and Pet Trust Fund at the Ontario Veterinarian College.
