Ready for action

Bulldogs lose to Wingham
Brussels beats Seaforth 1-0
The Blyth Bulldog Midgets
finally hit the ice again after a long
layoff.
Blyth travelled to Wingham
Thursday night, their first game
since playing Zurich to a 4-4 draw
Dec. 21.
The layoff definitely showed as
Blyth came up on the short end of a
4-2 score. Both Blyth goals were
textbook goals going hard to the
net. Chris Carter slammed one in,
finishing off a good effort by Steve
Oldfield, and Joel Arthur tipped

On Saturday, the Brussels Tykes
hosted the high flying Seaforth
Tykes.
Seaforth scored three goal in a
two-minute span to jump into a 3 -
0 lead. Seaforth added four more
goals throughout the game to walk
away with a 7 - 0 victory.
On Sunday the Tykes played a
rriini-game against Blyth during the
Novices blow away Zurich 10-0
The Blyth Novice Bs stormed
into Zurich, Jan. 16 and blew away
their hosts, 10-0.
Kendall Whitfield, Tony Bean
and Anthony Peters with two gave
the squad a four-goal lead going
into the second period. Brittany
Peters and Lee Watkins earned
assists on the first shot by Peters.
The second period was a little
quieter for the visitors with only

McDowell bulged the twine

Robertson. Bean rounded out the
