The Terry Fox Ride?
As part of honouring the legacy of Canadian hero and philanthropist Terry Fox, millions took
to the streets of Canada on Sunday to take part in local Terry Fox Runs. Locally, there were a
number of runs, including the ever-popular event in Brussels. You didn’t have to walk or run
the route, however, as some locals opted for the two-wheeled approach, like Aubrey
Beuermann, left, and Lily Hackett. The Brussels run raised over $6,000 this year, adding to the
tens of thousands it has raised in its history, thanks to the leadership of both the Brussels
Optimist and Brussels Lions Clubs. (Hannah Dickie photo)

also said that while the county’s
