The Breathe Easy program has been developed to offer those with chronic lung disease the knowledge and skills needed to enjoy as active and rewarding a lifestyle as possible. Breathe Easy, sponsored by The Lung Association, Horizon Pro Health and Wingham & District Hospital, begins Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and will run for six consecutive Wednesdays. The program will be held in the Board Room of Wingham & District Hospital. Discussing the matter at the Aug. 13 meeting, board members were advised by Assistant Arena Manag- er Abigail Corbett, that a large buck and doe gathering would net a maximum of about $3,000, includ- ing admissions and raffles. The board stressed that the 50 cents return per drink could not be increased due to LCBO policies. It was also pointed out the advan- tages of the system which include no bartending cost, confectionary costs, insurance coverage, security costs as well as the time and money spent to obtain the liquor license and liquor.
