New service centre gets official opening
McGavin Farm Equipment will mark
60 years of business with an anniversary
celebration July 19.
There will also be the official grand
opening and ribbon cutting of their new
service centre at their Walton location,
that same day.
Neil and Marie McGavin, their family
and staff will hosts an open house
following the ribbon cutting. Later there
will be a barbecue for staff and suppliers
at the family farm. The evening will be
capped off at 9 p.m. by a dance open to all
friends, neighbours and customers in the
new building.
The new facility, 11,000 square foot
facility is the latest evidence of the growth
of the business.
Ten years ago, McGavins showed
everyone their appreciation in a similar
way when 200 people helped their Walton
landmark celebrate its golden year of
business.
