Brussels Grade 3s write stories for Santa
DEAR SANTA,
I hope you like this story that I
wrote for you.
The Surprised Mouse
On one snowy Christmas Eve,
Felix the mouse and his goldfish
were eating some of his candy
canes with blue and white stripes
and then it was their bedtime. On
Christmas night, Felix and his
goldfish forgot to put up the holly
to make his room look wonderful
for Santa. In the morning, Felix and
his goldfish woke up to a surprise!
They could see the room decorated
with holly! Felix could faintly hear
the sound of "Ho, ho, ho" from
Santa going up the black chimney
top.
From Sarah Garland.
DEAR SANTA,
How are you doing? Are you
ready for the big sleigh ride? I hope
you don't catch a cold. Oh, yah. My
name is Mike. Do you want to hear
a story? Well, here it is!
The Lost Puppies
One Christmas Eve, Michelle and
Pam went to the mall with their
puppies. Michelle and Pam let go
of their leash. Then they ran away.
They looked for them for an hour.
Then they went home. They said to
their Mom, "We lost our puppies!".
"Where did you lose your
puppies?" asked their Mom.
"At the mall" they replied.
"You better find those ppppies"
she said.
"We will" they told her.
Then Santa Claus showed up at
the door. He said, "Are there two
girls who lost some puppies?"
"Yes!" they said.
"Here they are!" said Santa.
"Thank you Santa Claus" said the
girls.
"You're welcome. Bye, Bye!"
said Santa.
They had a happy Christmas!

The Mice Who Forgot
Once upon a snowy Christmas
Eve at Little Mouse's house,
Princess and Little Mouse were
decorating their house. First they
put the stockings up. Then, they put
up all the Christmas lights on the
house.
Princess noticed that they had no
Christmas tree. She said, "Oh, my,
what are we going to do?"
"Don't worry Princess Santa
Claus will bring us one said Little
Mouse." So that night, Santa Claus
brought Princess and Little Mouse
a nicely decorated little tree.

The Week Before Christmas
Once upon a time, there were two
men named Adam and Christopher.
They had a mouse problem in their
house. They found the mouse a
week before Christmas. The mouse
was ripping the couches.
They set traps. The mouse stole
the cheeses. The mouse stole and
stole the cheese.
Then the mouse Bradley got a
plan. He got Willy, the big hairy
mouse. They scared Adam and
Christopher out of the house.
Bradley had the run of the house
for Christmas. He had cookie
crumbs. It was the best Christmas
he had!

DEAR SANTA,

The Trailer Mice and Cat
It was Christmas Eve. The mouse
invited four mice for Christmas.
Their names were Adam, Cory,
Brad and Alyssa. They went for a
walk and they met a cat. The cat
was hungry and he chased the mice
and the mice just got to a hole, but,
it was plastic! The cat ripped it
apart, but the mice made a mouse
out of plastic and the cat went for
the decoy. When the cat went for
the decoy, the mice got away. They
went to the Christmas party and
had fun!

When Baby Jesus Was Born
The first Christmas was in a
stable. There lay baby Jesus, the
newborn baby. Down in a dark
comer, there sat Chris the mouse.
He was happy that joy had come to
his home. As soon as everyone was
asleep, Chris went to find his
friends to tell them that joy had
come to his home.
Later, Chris and his friends went
back to the stable to see the new
baby Jesus. They all thought he
was a very special Christmas
present.

He slammed the door. But, he
noticed there was a gift in the
hands of the ghost. But, how could
he get the gift? So, he opened the

Adam, the mouse, went to the
North Pole to make presents for
girls and boys, and the Moms and
Dads too! But, when he got there,
they already were done making
presents. Santa was happy to see
the mouse because he was just the
right size to squeeze into tiny
places. Adam went with Santa to
deliver the presents to the girls and

a hole. But, they couldn't! And,

Mom a gift It was an angel she had
always wanted since she was a little

She looked all over the gift store,
but nothing was left. Then she went
to the decoration store. Nothing
was left so she asked the person at
the counter, and she said, "Sorry,
none left."
Next, she went to the thread
shop. Nothing was left so she could
make one, so she did. It took her
four days to knit it. She wrapped it
up and put it under the tree. On

The Mouse Who Ate
Too Many Cookies
One winter day, Mrs. Clark, the
mouse, went to Santa Claus's house
and on the counter there were
cookies. Mrs. Clark said "yuck."
So, she went to the other side of the
counter. There was a plate full of
fruit. She said "Yum. I want that."
so she ate it.
Then, the elves came - Jill and
Bradley. They helped deliver the
presents. Then the elves went to
bed. So did Santa Claus and Mrs.
Clark. The mouse fell asleep on
Santa Claus’s knee. And, they had a
good night's sleep and lived happily
every after.
