Blyth students ask how the reindeer are doing A choir of angels The junior and senior kindergarten classes of Blyth Public School sang a number of entertaining numbers for the audience on hand at the annual school's Christmas concert, Wednesday night. They sang, Dear Old Santa had a Band and Waiting for Christmas. We’d hope you get everything you wish for, this holiday season! Radford Group Blyth, Brussels LISA’S CHRISTMAS SURPRISE One day Lisa woke up. She stretched and yawned. Her mother and father were not up. She went to the Zeller's store and bought a present for her mother and father. Her mother and father woke up. "Morning" said her father. "Morning" said her mother. Your father and I will be outside hanging lights." "Okay" said Lisa. She went upstairs. She found some wrapping paper. She wrapped her present. Every year Lisa had to get a tree so she went on her bike to Joe's Tree farm. She got the tree out of her bike basket. She got out her decorations and hung them on the tree. Her mother and father came in. They looked at the Christmas tree. Then they looked at Lisa. They set the presents under the tree and went to bed. Santa came and gave Lisa a cellular phone. His Continued on page 10 NOTICE TOWNSHIP OF HULLETT The Township of Hullett Council requests the co­ operation of the ratepayers regarding the parking of cars and other vehicles and the depositing of snow on Township roads during the period in which snow­ clearing operations are necessary. It is an offence under the Highway Traffic Act, Section 170 (12) to "Park or stand a vehicle on a Highway In such a manner as to Interfere with the movement of traffic or the clearing of snow from the highway." Also, Section 181 states "No person shall deposit snow or ice on a roadway without permission In writing so to do from the Ministry or the road authority responsible for the maintenance of the road." Neither the Township of Hullett or Its snowplow operators will be held responsible for damage done to vehicles or mailboxes on the Township road allowances.
