Cows traded steady to last week. Veal and lambs traded on a steady market. All classes of stackers sold on a steady trade. There were 292 steers on offer selling from $88 to $94 to the high of $103.50. Forty-two steers consigned by Cunningham Farms, Lucan, averaging 1,482 lbs. sold for an average of $91.40 with sales to $103.50. Of the $362,998 allotted to five projects, Grey Twp. will receive $94,000 for installation of a new concrete deck overlay, curbs and railings on Alcock Bridge. "I am pleased we are able to carry out this necessary mainte­ nance," said Grey Twp. Reeve Robin Dunbar. "The bridge is an essential element in our transporta­ tion network." Clinton will receive $110,000 for new storm sewers on Park Lane from Albert to Beech Street. The reconstruction of McConnell Street in Exeter will be granted $81,820 while Colbome Twp. will receive $26,162 for the upgrade of a heavily used road to a smooth asphalt surface.
