hockey club chalked up three more
victories this past week.
On Saturday, Dec. 6 Blyth
travelled to Clinton. The home
team played a strong defensive
game and kept Blyth off the
scoreboard the first half of the
game. The Bulldogs finally broke
loose with three goals late in the
second period and added six in the
third period to win 9-1.

The Blyth Midget Bulldogs had a
Jekyll and Hyde week on the ice
last week as they hammered
Teeswater 9 - 1 at home on Dec. 8
before getting bombed 11-3 in
Clinton on Dec. 9.
The Bulldogs continue to be
plagued by injuries but they were
able to find enough warm bodies to
ice a squad.
Mike Haggitt led the Bulldog
attack against Teeswater at home
Dec. 8. He collected a whopping
five goals and two assists,
including the last three goals of the
game.
Jamie Black, who opened the
floodgates with the first goal of the
game, Dave Ansley, Darryl
Bromley and Darrell Gerrits also lit
the red light up against a porous
Teeswater defense. Darryl Postma
and Kyle Anderson were top
playmakers with two assists each
with single helpers recorded by
Black, Dave Ansley, Gerrits, Chris
Carter and Corey Campbell.
Both teams were short handed
because of injuries, but the visitors
were no match to the Bulldogs on
this night.
