E. Klassen entertains Gang
The November meeting of
Londesboro Happy Gang Seniors
was held at the Hall Wednesday,
Nov. 26.
Eighty people enjoyed a
delicious Christmas dinner catered
by Londesboro UCW.
The Christmas tree, donated by
Willis and Marie Bromley, was
won by Hugh Millar. Several door
prizes were won.
After dinner members enjoyed
some entertainment provided by
Edward Klassen of Stratford. He
played music on a harp made by
the Iroquois Indians.
Pastor speaks of hope
Greeters at Londesboro United
Church on Sunday, Nov. 30 were
Don and Joan Goodall. Ushers
were Ken and Laura Scott.
Flowers in the front of the church
were in memory of Joe Hunking.
The Advent Candle of Hope was
lit.
The junior choir sang.
The sermon topic was "Still
Waiting, Still Hoping".
Baptized were Jacob Harry
Hunking, son of Bruce Hunking
and Paige Osborne, Natalie Darlene
Elliot, daughter of Donald Elliott
and Darlene Hunking and Cindy
Jeanette Gibbings.

While most of the donations for
the Brussels history book, have
made it safely back to their owner's
hands, the minutes of the Tri-Coun-
ty league's early days can not be
found.
The Citizen offices have been
searched from top to bottom and it
is suspected that the book (a small
black hardcover notebook) may
have inadvertantly found its way
into an envelope bearing someone
else's name.
Anyone who may have received
this material by mistake, if you
could contact The Citizen as soon
as possible, it would be appreciat
ed.
