Bulls
lose
again
Friday night saw the Bulls in
Hanover against the Barons.
The Bulls scored four times in
the first period on a couple of
single markers and two goals by
Josh Cressman, then held the
advantage into the second period.
A poor second period allowed the
Barons to tie the game and in the
third period take the lead. Hanover
eventually won the game 6 - 4.
Saturday night Wingham was in
town to take on the Bulls but due to
a scheduling mix up were short on
referees, so the game had to be
postponed and will be played at a
later date.
Sunday afternoon the Walkerton
Blackhawks came to town. The
Bulls are trailing the fourth place
Hawks by four points but by the
end of the day the lead would be
six points as Corey Hayter would
have four goals and two assists to
spur his team on to victory.
The Hawks jumped out to a
quick 3-0 lead on a Hayter natural
hattrick, but the Bulls came
stampeding back with three goals
in two minutes and three seconds.
The, first goal was by Craig
Morrissey, assisted by Dan Sinclair
and Gary Staples, the second by
Dan Sinclair, assisted by Morrissey
and Steve Henderson and the third
to tie the game by Jarrett Jeffrey
with helpers going to Rob Knechtel
and Andy Agar.
Walkerton however scored three
unanswered goals to make the
game 6-3 before Brett Fischer
scored with 5:21 left in the third.
The Blackhawks scored an empty
net goal to make the final 7 - 8 in
favour of Walkerton.
The Bulls only play once next .
