The Wingham and Area Seniors
Day Centre has installed a
hydrotherapy tub and introduced a
bathing program for clients and
others in the community who can
benefit.
"We are able to offer a great new
service to Day Centre clients and
others in the community," said Joan
van der Meer, chairperson of the;
Centre's board of directors. Staff
offer hydrotherapy bathing and
personal attention including
bathing, hair washing and basic nail
care.
The fee for a whirlpool session is
$5 for those who attend the Centre
and $10 for others. Providers of
various community services have
the opportunity to receive training
and use the bath for their clients at
a nominal cost. Wingham and
District Community Living
Association will be using the bath
