The puck drops here Banquet ends season The Huron County fastball season officially came to an end Saturday night with the league banquet in Seaforth. The Brussels Tigers were presented with the championship trophy and became the first team in league history to win the playoff championships in three consecutive years. Tim Fritz was named Tiger MVP while Scott Leonhardt, who pitched Walton to a first place finish, and Greg Mulvey of the Bulldogs were also honoured as their teams' most valuable. The Lieury Jets, finalists in 1994 and 1996 won the consolation title defeating the Brussels Bulldogs 2-0 in the deciding game.
