An interested group gathered at the Butterfly Goarden Saturday afternoon to begin the tour. Representatives from most of the project’s partners — Village of Blyth, Maitland Valley Conservation Authority, Blyth Lions, Blyth Snow Travellers, Blyth Horticulture Society, Blyth Cadets, Blyth Public School, Blyth Boys Scouts and Blyth Optimists — were present. The tour culminated with a barbecue, sponsored by the Lions. After reading the letter, council­ lors agreed there was nothing more that could be done and approved payment. It is simply the cost of doing business. Blyth councilors reviewed a let­ ter from Frank Cowan Co. Ltd, at the Oct 6 meeting, which explained a charge to the village for investi­ gating an insurance claim. The village received a bill from the insurance company for $791.33 to cover the cost of an adjustor who determined the village was not liable in a personal injury case.
