They made a map of a playground. On the map, they put the compass, a map key with symbols, labels and a title. Jake wants to learn more about maps because he is soon leaving for Australia. Adam would like to know how to make maps. Grade 4 is learning about spiders. They are also doing a paper machd* spider later this week. In Grade 5 Candice McLellan and Tate Stephenson were elected as class reps, for the student council. In Grade 6/7 Rachel Elliot was elected for class rep on the student council. On Monday, Oct. 6, Grade 6/7 will start to write their own autobiographies. Grade 6 started studying and making collages of each province, in Canadian Studies. In Grade 7/8 Nicole Mastnak and Kyle Stephenson were elected as class reps for the student council. Grade 7/8 also won class of the week in French. They also finished their autobiographies, to finish up their Who Am I unit. They would like to thank Mrs. Regier for giving them a snack of Granola Bars, Tim Bits and Rice Cakes.
