BELGRAVE, BLYTH
SCHOOL FAIR
By Katelyn Linner
"Rain, Rain go away!" is what
the students at Belgrave and Blyth
Public School were singing at their
School Fair. Even though the
parade was rained out, the children
were still smiling knowing that
they had won prizes and money.
They had cows, horses, pigs,
sheep, chickens and roosters to
show. There were indoor pets such
as cats, kittens, rabbits, hamster and
birds. There was a variety of art,
crafts, and school work on display.
Many kinds of fruits, vegetables
and flowers were also shown.
The treats and goodies were
tempting. Pop and chips were being
sold, too. After everyone had a
snack, they went over to the field
and enjoyed some wet running
races and games. Even though it
rained, everyone had a good time.
