Receptionist duties include answering calls, and, at times,
receiving customer orders. The bookkeeping functions
Include entering supplier invoices, preparing cheques for
suppliers, preparing sales invoices, recording customer
payments, reconciling banks and preparing the payroll. The
completion of statutory government forms for G.S.T., P.S.T.,
Workers* Compensation, and employer remittances will also
be the responsibility of the bookkeeper.
The successful candidate will be computer literate. The
company Is currently implementing the Simply Accounting
software system. Assistance with the implementation of this
system and with other accounting matters is available to the
bookkeeper from the company's outside accounting firm.
The hours of work involved could vary from 35 to 40

On a 1 Year Contract Basis with the possibility of renewal
Reporting to Council, the Road Superintendent is responsible for:
- Road construction and maintenance activities (118 km. of roads)
- Supervisory experience required
- DZ Licence (with clear driving certificate)
- Must be able to operate a grader and all heavy equipment
as required
- Mechanical ability an asset
- Required to keep written records associated with maintenance,
construction, prepare budgets and reports.
- Previous municipal experience preferred - applicant should be
familiar with Provincial Standards and Statutory Acts.
Applicant must possess good public relations and communication -
written and oral skills
Must be willing to relocate to the area.
Salary commensurate with experience.
