Coached by Warren Moore, Jeff Peters and Tracey Cook, the team took the title in three straight. Their first two games were against two Stanley Twp. teams, while the final, which almost ended in a rainout, was against their Hullett Twp. neighbours. / SALE Council hears property problem - $69.00 - $59.00 - $55.00 After several visits and numerous notes left over recent months, Blyth Chief Building Official Paul Josling reported the futility of his efforts concerning a Drummond Street property, to Blyth council, Aug. 5. Council had instructed Josling to investigate a complaint of someone using a motor home as a permanent residence at Plan 174, Lot 27, Part Block B, C and John Street. Though numerous attempts had been made to contact the owner of the home, no personal contact had been made, said Josling. He advised council that it does not appear the home is now being used as a permanent residence, therefore making it difficult to con vince a court of law that there had been a contravention of a village bylaw. However, Josling said he may be able to use the property standards bylaw to have the owner clean up the property. Council authorized Clerk-Trea surer John Stewart to contact those who had filed the written complaint advising them of Josling's contin ued efforts.
