Central Public School
Valedictorian predicts classmates’ futures
By Jodi
Semple
Tonight is
the night, we
graduates have
been waiting
for. After nine
years of
elemen tary
school we
have finally
reached theA
step of graduating.
Good evening ladies and
gentlemen, special guests, staff and
fellow graduates. Welcome to the
class of 97's graduation.
Through the years we have had
many memories, from scared little
kindergartens on our first day, to the
blossoming young adults we are
today. We have had a tonne of fun
together through the years.
From knowing, and growing with
my classmates for many years, I
would like to tell you all how I
visualize their futures. I have picked
out characteristics of each to lead to
a conclusion of what their future
careers might be. Starting with
Meghan Adams who just joined our
class this year, because of her love
for children, I believe she will
become a kindergarten teacher.
Philipp Affolter's height and athletic
ability will get him far in the NBA.
Kenny Brown, because of his
friendly disposition, I believe will
become a big brother to someone
less fortunate, and Shannon Clark
will become an architect because
that seems to be her thing.
Now that James Bank knows
candy isn't good for his teeth, he
will become a successful dentist.
Scott Cox will be a topnotch
mathematician, while Amanda
Cummings will appear on national
television as a famous debator.
David and Dennis Cullen will travel
from circus to circus as the twirling
twins, and Diane Daman will be

Grey grads
The Grey Central graduating class received their

McIlroy, Amanda Cummings, Sara Speiran. Front: Diane
Damen, Julie Machan, Joanna Steinman, Amy Hiusser,
Amanda Curtis, Crystal Edgar, Danielle Preston, Julia

VanVeen.
Instead of Edgar Allen Poe, it will
be Crystal Edgar on the cover of
your poetry books. Marc Fischer
knows the ins and outs of the
principal’s office, quite well, and
therefore I feel he would make a
good principal. Mark Gillis's
favourite word is toiletries, so I
believe he will become the world's
greatest toilet salesman. Konrad has
a great talent for the sax and will
certainly become a jazz player.
With his great strength and ability
Gary Huisser will follow his Dad's
footsteps and become outstanding in
his field, as a farmer.
Ryan Befurt will be a mediator
Curtis's friendly ways she would be
perfect for a Welcome Wagon
agency. Julia’s projects were always
done with perfection and care; I see
her as a supervisor in a major
organization. Because of her beauty,
Jaycee will likely become a model
for a top agency. Julie will become
a Yamaha snowmobile dealer.
McCall Livestock will be kept
going by Ross's son, Matt, because
he loves the beef industry.
Riki is going to win the lottery
and travel the world. Our class
comedian, Randy Milinkovic, is
going to replace weird Al
Yankovich, while Wavne Gretzkv
knowledge of the farm, he will be
the next Old MacDonald.
Danielle has a special interest in
books and great organizational
skills, so a librarian she may be.
Loads of experience and lots of
love for kids, Allison Rapson will
become a mother of about a dozen.
Chance Razman has had a wide
range of strange pets, and would
make a terrific zoo keeper, while
Justin's love of nature, would make
him perfect to create the
environment for Chance's animals
at the zoo.
Debora has great language skills,
speakine Enelish. French and
Thanks to Christy, who managed
to make the best year book, in Grey
Central history, a chief editor she
will surely make. Sara Speiran has
great spelling abilities and the best
enthusiasm I have ever seen. That's
why I think she will take over
Vanna White's job on The Wheel Of
Fortune.
With Jordan VanVeen's speed and
talent he'll be right up there with
Donovan Bailey.
In Amy's future I see bedpans and
bandages for a nurse she'll be.
James Marion may choose an
afternoon job, for he is not a good
