THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, JULY 2,1997 PAGE 13. Brussels Public School Valedictorian asks, ‘Who could forget?’ By Katie Clark " Parents, teachers, guests and graduates, Elementary school is a time to increase your knowledge, to grow and mature, sort of like a training camp for the next stage of your life. After nine years of this I'm sure that everyone is glad to graduate! But we could not have made it this far without the help of our parents, teachers, and friends. Teachers who would not settle for our favourite excuses, 'I forgot it at home' or 'I'll bring it at lunch' and parents who wouldn't let you leave the house unless you had all of your homework finished. But what's wrong with those blonde jokes anyway! At the volleyball tournament Tamara was our strong player. Remember in Grade 1 when Amy Douma would eat glue? Maybe that's why she's so crazy! And just two weeks ago Megan Bragg forgot how to count odd numbers and did Continued on page 18 MORRIS TOWNSHIP Your hometown salutes your effort.
