He is survived by his wife, the former Karen Pengelly and his son, Jamie McCallum, both of Belgrave, and his sisters, Jean (Mrs. Albert Cook) of Belgrave and Mabel (Mrs. George Smith) of Brussels. Mr. McCallum was predeceased by his parents, John and Esther McCallum, his sister, Feme Smith, and his brother, Wendell McCal­ lum. The funeral service was held June 12 from McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham. Rev. Mary-Jane Hobden officiated. Interment was at Brandon Ceme­ tery. Memorial donations to the chari­ ty of your choice would be appreci­ ated as expressions of sympathy. MURIEL GARNISS Muriel Garniss of Brussels passed away at Wingham and Dis­ trict Hospital, Wednesday, June 11, 1997, at the age of 72. Mrs. Garniss was employed by the Brussels Post Office from 1957 to her early retirement in 1984. She assumed the duties of postmistress in 1977. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Garniss, loving mother of Murray Garniss and Monique of Wiarton and Joan Fleming and Wayne of Palmerston and loved grandmother of six grandchildren: Leisa, Brett, Clinton, Cherida, Brad and Corey, and three great-grand­ children: Tanner, Alicon and Brit­ tany. She was the dear Brussels Mennonite Fellowship (519) 887-6388 Worship Service 9:30 a.m. Jesus is Lord Guests Welcome mother-in-law of Margaret Garniss of Brussels and mother of the late Jim Garniss. Mrs. Garniss was predeceased by one brother and one sister. She was the loving sister-in-law of Edith and Isobell Garniss and dear aunt of Lilan Johnston of Mississauga. She will be missed by several nieces and nephews and her former daughter-in-law, Brenda Cathers, of Wroxeter. Rev. Christine Johnson officiated at the service, held Friday, June 13, at Betts Funeral Home, Brussels. Interment was at Brandon Ceme­ tery, Belgrave. Pallbearers were Brett Garniss, Clinton Garniss, Brad Smith, Corey Smith, Ken Hopper and Gary Hop­ per. Leisa Garniss Marsh and Cherida McCaulagh carried the floral trib­ utes. In remembrance, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. JACOB FRANCIS RICHARD ZWEP Jacob Francis Richard Zwep passed away at Stratford General Hospital, June 12, 1997. He was the loved son of Jerry Zwep and Sandra Hunt of RR2, Brussels. Jacob is survived by his great­ great grandmother, Kathleen Hill of ENGAGEMENT Congratulations Becky Elizabeth Wilkinson and Jeff Millard Williamson will be united in marriage on Saturday, June 21, 1997 al St. James Catholic Church, Seaforth Becky is the daughter of Brian Wilkinson of Clinton and Brenda Wilkinson of Seaforth. Jeff is the son of Ken and Anne Williamson of Walton. Open reception to follow al BM & G Community Centre, Brussels. He was predeceased by grandfather Jacob Zwep. He was the beloved nephew of Mary and Chris Cardno of Missis­ sauga, Marion Hunt of Seaforth, George and Jane Zwep pf Brussels, Annett and Ernie Lewington of Brussels, Atje and Charlie Tuyten of Stratford and Harry and Elaine Zwep of Ancaster. Rev. Bruce Cook officiated at the funeral service from Whitney- Ribey Funeral Home, Seaforth, Sat­ urday, June 14. Interment was at Brussels Cemetery. IDA PROCTER Ida Procter of Belgrave passed away at her residence, Thursday, June 12, 1997. She was 81. She is survived by her children Douglas and Debbie Procter of Seaforth, Faye Procter of London, Wayne Procter of Culross Twp., Donald and Kathy Procter of Bel­ grave and Ken and Lila Procter of Morris Twp. Mrs. Procter was the sister of Marie and her husband, Bruce McLean, and Louise and her husband, Frank Collar, of Wing­ ham and the dear grandmother of Kim, Kelly, Kristi, Tim, Michael, Andrew, Ben and Jessica. She was predeceased by her hus­ band, Alvin Procter in 1996, her brother, Amo Kelly, and her sister, Gertrude Tilden. Rev. Mary-Jane Hobden officiat­ ed at the June 15 service which was held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham. Interment was at Wingham Cemetery. ROBENA MCBURNEY Robena McBurney of Seaforth, formerly of Belgrave, passed away at Seaforth Manor, Thursday, June 12, 1997. She was 86. She is survived by her daughter, Laura and Ken Barbour of Brus- Forthcoming Marriage BOSMAN-HOELSCHER Jim and Ann Bosman, Winthrop and Bruce and Carol Hoelscher, Seaforth are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their children Tina Lorraine and Jeffrey Bruce.
