Isobel Gibson hosts WMS May meeting The WMS of Melville Presbyterian Church met at the home of Isobel Gibson for the regular meeting on May 5. Helen Elliott read a poem - a new version of Matthew 6, verses 25, 28 and 30. The hymn, God of Mercy, God of Grace was sung. President, Helen presided for the business. The secretary's report was read by Thelma Cardiff and Leona 40 people at dessert euchre Armstrong gave the treasurer's report. The roll call was answered by nine members giving a verse naming "grow" or "growing". -- The next meeting will be at the home of Marguerite Krauter. The hymn The Morning Light is Breaking, the Darkness Disappears, was sung. The scripture reading from Luke, "The Good Samaritan" was read by Mrs. Krauter. The president told more from the study book, about China.
