We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to our neighbours, friends and relatives for the charitable donations given and for the food, flowers, cards, prayers and words of comfort we received during our recent bereavement of a dear father and grandfather Ervin Bender. Your thoughtfulness is most appreciated and will be remembered. - Keith and Janet Bachert and family. 15-1 VINCENT. The family of the late Shannon Marie Vincent would like to thank everyone for their prayers and kind expressions of sympathy during our recent bereavement and also the donations to Wingham and District Hospital and the Children's Hospital of Western Ontario, the floral tributes, cards, phone calls and contributions of food. We wish to especially thank Chris McGee, Don Taylor, the ambulance staff, Dr. Antoniadis and the nursing staff of Wingham and District Hospital for their superb efforts. Of special mention is the wonderful care given by the trauma transportation team from Children's Hospital of Western Ontario and Dr. Donovan, Dr. Louise Parker, Dr. Michelle McNeil, Dr. Janet Gillette and their dedicated nursing team. The support from social workers Shawne Murphy and Sue McLean was very much appreciated. Sincere thanks to the Rev. Mary- Jane Hobden for being at our side during our vigil at the hospital and the comforting memorial service and thanks also to the Rev. Vinda Wilke (Ripley) for her support and assistance with the service and thanks to the choir of Knox United Church, Belgrave accompanied by Elizabeth Procter and Ann Spivey for their musical tribute. We appreciate the kindness of John and Treva Jamieson and neighbours and former neighbours for serving a delicious supper to immediate relatives between visitations on Sunday, and the Belgrave U.C.W. for lunch after the service on Monday. We also wish to thank the McBumey Funeral Home Staff for their courteous service and the continuous help and assistance at home of brothers Murray and Grant, nephews Dean and Vaughn, the Scott brothers Jim, Bill, Kevin and Allan and neighbour David McBumey, as well as other family and friends. - Neil, Joan and Margaret Vincent. 15-1 VINCENT. We wish to sincerely thank our relatives, friends and neighbours for the cards, food brought to our home and words of comfort at the time of the tragic loss of our dear niece and cousin, Shannon. I would like to thank everyone for a lovely Community Bridal Shower. I was delighted and surprised to see so many there, and very appreciative of the many beautiful gifts. A special thank you to those who brought food, helped serve, to Julie, Judy and Gladys for their wonderful piano music and to Deb for decorating. I have saved the biggest thank you for Nancy Jardin for organizing the shower, making a lot of food, and for her warm and humorous poem.
