HELPING THE WORLD WRITE NOW for future improvements The Clinton Public Hospital (CPH) Foundation has been formed to undertake fundraising, investment and income distribution activities to enhance or improve services and patient care of the Clinton Public Hospital. As of April 1, all donations and bequests to the hospital will be managed by the foundation and these funds will be distributed to meet the hospital's requirements. The foundation will meet regularly with the hospital to determine the funds needed for purchase of medical equipment or the enhancement of the facility. The Foundation is a separate corporation with a board of directors and bylaws governing its activities. Two hospital board members and five community representatives will make up this new board. The DHC hospital restructuring plan includes a continued role for the Clinton Public Hospital and members look forward to many fundraising campaigns to support its continued operation. However, in the event of the dissolution of the Clinton Public Hospital, the funds of the foundation shall be distributed to support continuing hospital and/or health care services provided to the residents in the former catchment area served by the Clinton Public Hospital.
