BELL A former resident of Biyth, Char­ lotte Bell died at Huronview on March 9, 1997. She was 104. Bom March 27, 1892, in Morris Twp. Mrs. Bell was the daughter of the late John Wallace and Ellen Newcombe. She married Frank O. Bell, who predeceased her in 1964. She was the loving mother of Wallace and Jean Bell of Brussels and Addie and Lome Hunking of Londesboro. She was the dear grandmother of Marjorie and Tom Duizer of Londesboro, Art Hunk­ ing and Judy Regier of Exeter, Murray and Kathy Hunking of Goderich, Sharon and Frank Wil­ son of Biyth and Wayne and Mary Jean Bell of Brussels. She is sur­ vived as well by by 13 great­ grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Bell was the dear sister of Irvine Wallace of Huronview. She was predeceased by eight brothers and one sister. Mrs. Bell was a member of Biyth United Church. Rev. Stephen Huntley conducted the funeral service, which was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11 at the Beattie-Falconer Funeral Homes, "Tasker Chapel", Biyth. Interment will be at Biyth Union Cemetery. Grazing seminar set With the snow soon to be gone from pastures, farmers may be get­ ting ready to put the livestock back in the fields. For some of the latest informa­ tion a grazing management semi­ nar, sponsored by Brussels Agri Services, is being held at the Brus­ sels Legion, March 19, at 7:29 p.m. Vet Ben Barlett, schooled in ani­ mal husbandry, will be the guest speaker for the evening, discussing the benefits of controlled grazing. Barlett is presently the dairy and livestock extension agent for the University of Michigan in Michi­ gan's Upper Peninsula and the owner/operator of a 400 head pas­ ture lambing ewe flock. The farm also has 150 head Stocker cattle. For those interested in determin­ ing if the old energizer for the elec­ tric fences is working to capacity, a fence impulse tester will be avail­ able from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
