It began at 1 p.m. with dessert, followed by the service. Bums and Auburn UCWs were guests. Florence Snell, Audrey Thompson, Brenda Snell, Lindsay Horbanuik, and Betty Fisher conducted the service. It was prepared by the Women of of Korea. The theme was "Like a Seed, Which Grows Into A Tree". Everyone sang the hymn For the Beauty of the Earth, Let There Be Light, and In Christ There is no East or West. Slides of Korea were shown. Church plans bee Greeter at Londesboro United Church on Sunday, March 9 was Barbara Bosman. Usher was Jason Hoggart. The sermon topic was "Serpent, Shadows and the Saviour". There will be a work bee at the church Monday, March 17 at 9 a.m. Everyone's help is needed. Choir practice is 10:15 a.m. Sundays, March 16, 23 and 30. Taking a spin Snowy roads last Thursday made driving tricky in the area as one driver found out. This accident occurred on Hwy 4. south of Blyth in the afternoon. Blyth firefighters assisted at the scene. There were no further details at press time.
