ANGELA KAY KONARSKI Angela Konarski of RR1, Blyth died in London on Monday, Jan. 27, 1997 as the result of an acci­ dent. She was 16. Ange was born in Clinton on Nov. 30, 1980, the loving daughter of Richard and Brenda (Dale). She spent her elementary years at Hul- lett Central Public School and was now a student at Central Huron Secondary School, Clinton. Those fortunate enough to have known Ange will remember her smile of sunshine. She was energy and light and that brightened the lives of those around her. In her short time she took all that life offered her and gave back all that she could. Ange was a member of the junior soccer team at CHSS and of the Londesboro Bantam girls baseball team. She volunteered on the SERVE team for the past two years at the Blyth Christian Reformed Church. She brought her fondness for young children to her contributions as a Sunday School teacher at Lon­ desboro United Church. Ange was the dear sister of Jason and Jennifer, both at home and the beloved granddaughter of Ron and Lorraine Dale of Seaforth and Frank and Kay Konarski of RR1, Blyth. Ange is also loved and remembered by special friends Sandy Verwey and Teresa Brenner. She is survived as well by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation was held on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at Beattie Falconer Funeral homes, Clinton. The funeral service was at Londesboro United Church on Wednesday, Jan. 29. Rev. Paul Ross officiated. The honourary pallbearers were Shannon Scott, Sandy Verwey, Christina Black, Amber Scherle, Rachel Bylsma and Jessica Jaskula. The active pallbearers were Joe O'Rourke, Chris Dale, Jason Jasku­ la, Chris Storey, Stephen King and Derek Leppington. Interment will be in Clinton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Angela Konarski Scholarship Fun at the Huron County Board of Education, Londesboro United Church or Clin­ ton Public Hospital would be appreciated. ANNA ELIZABETH LANSING Anna Elizabeth (Beth) Lansing of Huronview, formerly of Auburn, passed away Jan. 28, 1997 at Clin­ ton Public Hospital. She was 92 Mrs. Lansing was a retired schoolteacher, having taught in Hullett and East Wawanosh Twps. from 1927 to 1969, a 40-year mem­ ber of the Easter Star, Clinton Chapter and a member of Knox United Church. Bom in Amabel Twp., Feb 25, 1904, to Francis and Alice (Hunter) Arnett, she wed Sidney David Lansing, who predeceased her. She is survived by several cousins and special friend of Ber­ nice Anderson and Jean and Don Jardine. Mrs. Lansing was predeeased by one sister, Mary Gardhouse, a nephew, Allison Gardhouse, and a niece, Frances Gardhouse. Rev. Paul Ross and Rev. Rick Hawley officiated at the funeral service which was held Jan. 30, at Tasker Chapel, Beattie-Falconer Funeral Homes, Blyth. Interment was at Ball’s Cemetery, Hullett Twp. WILLIAM LESLIE DOUGLAS William Leslie Douglas of Wrox- eter, passed away suddenly, Friday, Jan. 24, 1997. He was 87. Mr. Douglas was the beloved husband of Margaret Douglas and loving father of Anne and Alex Stewart of Cambridge. Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiated at the service which was held at Betts Visitation Centre, Gorrie, Jan. 27. Spring interment will be at Wroxeter Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wroxeter United Church Build­ ing Fund would be appreciated by the family. MARY EDGAR Mary Edgar of Lislowel, passed away at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel, Tuesday, Jan. 28, 1997. She was 90. Mrs. Edgar was the beloved wife of the late J. Cammcron Edgar, dear sister of the late Selah, Eliza­ beth, Anna and Margaret Brecken­ ridge. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. SAMUEL HORST Samuel Horst of Wroxeter, passed away, Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1997, at his residence. He was 90. Mr. Horst was the beloved hus­ band of Hannah Horst, who prede­ ceased him in 1995, loving father of Jessie and Peter Horst and loved grandfather of eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was the dear brother of Levi Horst of Pennsylvania, Henry Horst of Virginia and the late John and Isaac Horst. He rested at the home of Henry Bowman, Howick Twp. The funer­ al service was held Feb. 1, at North Tlowick Mcnnonite Cemetery. WHEELER-NEILL On Nov. 2, 1996 Gail Melinda Neill and Gregory Bruce Wheeler were united in marriage at Brussels United Church with Rev. James Murray performing the service. The bride is the daughter of Kelley an Irene Bennett of Clifford. The groom is the son of Dave and Rosemary Wheeler of Brussels. The honoured attendants were Pam and Keith McLean, friends of the couple. Bridesmaids were Kim Neill, sister of the bride, Tracey Swart, cousin of the bride and Angela Busby, friend of the bride. Groomsmen were Andrew McCutcheon, Brian McArter and Rob Henscall, all friends of the groom. Flowergirl was Mercedes Tenpas, friend of the bride and the ringbearer was Cole McLean, godson of the groom. A reception followed at the BMG Community Centre. Gail and Greg would like to thank everyone for sharing in their special day. The couple now reside at RR 5, Brussels.
