Morgan. Angela is the daughter of Jean and the late W.Alex Nethery of Blyth. Wade is the son of Ed and Pollie Berard of Mitchell. The couple celebrated this joyous event with a Caribbean cruise and are residing in Mitchell. The bride is the daughter of Brenda McDonald and grand­ daughter of Pat and Charlie Shaw, all of Blyth. The groom is the son of Sander and Willemina Van Dorp of Clinton. The honoured attendants were Karen Giousher and Jeromy Ten Hag, friends of the couple. Bridesmaids were Catherine McDonald, sister of the bride, Michelle Nesbit, cousin of the bride, and Teresa Van Dorp, sister of the groom. Groomsmen were Michael Strickland, Ian Siertsema and Murray Bechtel, friends of the groom. Ushers were Andrew Van Dorp, brother of the groom and Michael McDonald, brother of the bride. A reception followed at Blyth and District Community Centre. The couple honeymooned in Tennessee and now reside in Clinton. Grey Twp. makes bd. appointments Hullett council returns tenders After having called tenders for a 1997 half ton pickup, Hullett coun­ cil returned the bids, unopened. Road Superintendent Jim John­ ston was instructed, at the Jan. 7 meeting, to return the letters by registered mail, with a note of explanation. Council agreed in a 4-1 vote, that the tenders should not be accepted until the township was in a more stable position with regards to the restructuring process. Those who submitted tenders would be con­ tacted at an appropriate future date. Councillor Doug Hugill voted against the motion. The surplus from the 1996 road budget will be transferred to 1997. A rate of $45 per hour was estab­ lished for the tandem truck for snowplowing. Council requested engineer's reports from Burns Ross on the bridges at Lot 29, Cone. 8 and 9 (Kennedy) and Lot 17, Cone. 8 and 9 (Hogs Back).
