Snow halts
euchre party
Snowstorms caused the
cancellation of the euchre party last
Friday night as well as the "Kids
Games" at the centre. Hopefully
weather conditions will improve in
time for the next euchre party,
Friday, Jan. 17. Everyone is
welcome. Admission is $2. Women
bring lunch.
The next "Kids' Games" will be
Friday, Feb. 14. They will have a
Valentine theme. Kids, ages 5 to
14, are welcome. Bring 50 cents to
help pay for prizes.
The D. Cottons and W. Stricklers
received a nice surprise when they
were each given on one of the
poinsettias for Christmas which
were in the church in memory of
Annie Engel.
