Thanks to Dr. Hanlon for his care and concern and Father Eugene and Father Mark for their visits and prayers. Thanks also to the dedicated nurses and staff of the Wingham and District Hospital for their care and understanding. The C.W.L. for their flowers and visits, to many people who sent cards and flowers and those who made phone calls and inquiries. I was not very good company to visit with. In over seventy years, this has been the first Christmas that I was not able to send out greetings to many old friends. Even if late, I would like to extend belated wishes for Christmas 1996, and for the most wonderful upcoming year of 1997; blessed with health and happiness to you and yours.
