The Final Installment of the 1996 property taxes is due
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 1996.

Kids' Club gathers
to make decorations
Congratulations to Julie Cameron
and Gary Terpstra whose wedding
took place on Nov. 2, in St.
Joseph's Church in Stratford. They
will be residing at RR 3, Brussels.
The euchre.party last Friday
hosted six tables. Winners were:
high lady, G. Thedorf; high man, L.
Smith; low lady, I. Craig; low man,
A. Edgar, lone lady, V. Crawford;
lone man, I. McLean.
The next euchre party will be
held on Nov. 15, 8:30 p.m. at
Cranbrook Hall. Women are asked
to bring lunch.
Also, last Friday the "Kids Club"
got together to do crafts. Twelve
children ages five to 14 made
Christmas decorations. The next
craft evening will be held on Dec.
13.
Tickets are still available for the
ham and potato supper (Nov. 14,
Cranbrook Hall) sponsored by the
Women's Auxiliary of Knox
Presbyterian Church.
Tickets for the raffle of paintings
(proceeds to go to Cranbrook Hall)
will be sold at a table at the IGA
next Thursday from noon until
4 p.m. The paintings will be on
display. The draw will be held on
Nov. 29 at the euchre party.

those in need was said by Rev.
Ross followed by The Lord's
Prayer in unison.
Collection was received from the
Sunday School and church. The
doxology was said and offertory
prayer sung.
The hymn Let There Be Peace
On Earth was sung followed by the
Benediction. The Amen closed this
Remembrance Day service.

Women's Institute held its euchre Helen Dobson; lone hands, man,
