Nov. 8 was another travel day as
the girls took on Wallace Twp., in a
low scoring game.
Wallace took the lead into the
final minutes of the first, when
Heidi Meier brought the tally to 2-

Down 3-1 in the dying minutes,
Belgrave mustered a last attempt.
Heidi Meier notched her second of

The seesaw battle continued as
Clinton took a 2-1 lead, only to
have Blyth even the score. Howev-

The home team held their 4-2
lead through the second, with the
goalies stopping every shot.

Grey Twp. council passed two
bylaws pertaining to the implemen-
tation of user-pay co-collection by
the Bluewater Recycling Associa-
tion, at its regular meeting Nov. 4.
A bylaw authorizing the agree-
ment with Bluewater to provide co-
collection (wastes and recyclables)
on a bi-weekly basis starting in
1997 passed. Due to scheduling
problems, the co-collection would
continue on Thursdays rather than
the originally announced Friday
collection. The first co-collection in
1997 will be Thursday, Jan. 9.
A second bylaw establishes a $2
"bag-tag" fee for all garbage

service or brought to the landfill
The visitors could not sustain
their attack. Clinton notched a sixth
goal in the dying minutes.

Cook and Blake Miller earned
