THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 1996 UCW to welcome speaker B. McMillan The General Meeting of Knox United UCW will be held Thursday evening, Sept. 26 at 8 p.m. in the church basement. The guest speaker is Barbara McMillan of Palmerston. She will be speaking about her work with develop- mentally handicapped persons and in particular about a family setting for the developmentally handi- capped. A Let's Get Acquainted evening is being held at the East Wawanosh Public School on Thursday, Sept. 26 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Enjoy a meal cooked by the staff, tour the school with children and yisit with friends. Marion Calder of Scarboro spent a few days at Betty Irwin's. Harold Bosman of Edmonton, visited with Gordon and Louise Bosman. Those attending the wedding of Tracy Bosman and Paul McLennon in Seaforth Northside Church, Seaforth, Saturday, Sept. 21 were Louise and Gordon Bosman, Bel- grave; Harold Bosman, Edmonton; Mabel Lamont, Goderich; Allan and Barb Bosman, Londesboro; Dave Bosman and Cheryl Dunn, Bayfield; Joan and Pie.. Westerhout and Kathleen, Granton. Friends and neighbours wish Wayne Jerome a speedy recovery. Wayne has been a patient at University Hospital for the last three weeks and has undergone bypass surgery and is coming along great.
