Ushers were Rick and Brenda Konarski. The choir sang Voices United. The sermon topic was "Forgive Me". Choir practice is Sept. 22 at 10:15 a.m. Worship and Music Committee will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the manse. Stewards will meet Monday, Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. at the church. The September meeting of Londesboro WI was held at the Hall on Monday evening, Sept. 9 at 8 p.m. Lois welcomed everyone. The meeting was opened by The Opening Ode, Mary Stewart Collect and 0 Canada. Roll call was taken up by naming a law frequently broken. The minutes of the July and August meetings were read. Reta gave the financial report. Donations will be given to the Erland Lee Home and 100th Centennial Committee. The 45th Huron County rally is on Monday, Sept. 30 at Londesboro Hall. Josephine MacGregor gave a reading on prisons. Guest speaker was Constable John Marshall. He lives in Londesboro and is a member of the OPP. He spoke on a Safe Community. He was presented The regular monthly euchre was held at the hall on Friday evening, Sept. 13. There were 19 tables of euchre. • Winners were: first, Keith and Phyllis Tyndall; second, Carmen and Ila; third, Ed and Carole Daer; lone hands, Olive and Barb; hidden score, Jim and Clarence; share the wealth, Ivan Bennewan, Geraldine with a cheque and a cookbook. Grace was sung. Lunch was •served by Renee Snell and Betty Hulley. Dale and Effie McCall.
