Pumped up
The Rushton engine, originally placed at the Kitchener pumping station in 1927, was a
fascinating attraction due to its sheer size and power.
The old way
Friday was the day to be at the Thresher Reunion this
year as demonstrations like this were on schedule under
sunny skies.
Oh! Suzannah
This classic was just one of the many tunes puffed out in steam by the calliope as visitors to
the Huron Pioneer Thresher Reunion and Hobby Show (and neighbouring residents) were
entertained with songs from the past.
Hands on
There are a number of exhibits and demonstrations going
on at the Huron Pioneer Thresher Reunion and Hobby
Show, like this log cutting display.
Moving to the classics
Antique threshers and steam engines were not the only attraction at the reunion as classic
car buffs had several beautifully restored and preserved models to peruse, including this
Model T.
