Country Social pleases many
The Belgrave United Church
Country Social was held on Satur-
day, June 22 with the smorgasbord
supper at the Women's Institute
Hall while, baking, penny auction,
plants and produce, crafts and
miscellaneous, youth group activi-
ties and children's corner were held
in the church basement. A special
thanks to everyone who supported
this event by donating articles
helping at the supper, and to all
those who attended or worked at
the various activities.
Winners of the penny auction
were: brown oval dish, Jennifer
Black; can of mixed nuts, Mike
Cottrill; wooden recipe box, Nicole
Procter; potholdcrs, Gord Bosman:
With another school year com-
pleted, the graduating students
from Hullett Central Public School
were recognized for their efforts.

home from London Hospital, Jean

Winnie Vincent of Blyth has
returned home after spending three
weeks staying at the home of her
daughter and son-in-law, Irene and
Jim Lamont.
While in Belgrave she enjoyed
visiting with many friends and
neighbours as well as Mike,
Donclda and family.

ation banquet recently.
