Country Social pleases many The Belgrave United Church Country Social was held on Satur- day, June 22 with the smorgasbord supper at the Women's Institute Hall while, baking, penny auction, plants and produce, crafts and miscellaneous, youth group activi- ties and children's corner were held in the church basement. A special thanks to everyone who supported this event by donating articles helping at the supper, and to all those who attended or worked at the various activities. Stuart Chamney has returned home from London Hospital, Jean Cook is a patient at Wingham and District Hospital while Margaret Taylor is a patient in London Hospital. Friends and neighbours wish Stuart, Jean and Margaret a speedy recovery. Winnie Vincent of Blyth has returned home after spending three weeks staying at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Irene and Jim Lamont. While in Belgrave she enjoyed visiting with many friends and neighbours as well as Mike, Donclda and family. Several Grade 8 students were the recipients of awards at a gradu- ation banquet recently.
