THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26, 1996 UMIElll 1111 o no OM Congratulates Stephanie Kellington $5,000 Elimination Draw Winner THANK YOU As the Brussels Lions Club celebrates its 50th anniversary of service to the community, and on this, the 20th anniversary of our annual Elimination Draw, we would like to take this opportunity to say a sincere "Thank You" for your support. Without your help, our club would not be able to live up to our motto, "We Serve". During these times of spending cuts by all levels of government, we find ourselves being called upon more often to support local groups and individuals, who, in the past, relied upon government funding to support their programs. This we feel will only continue into the future. It is because of your support at functions such as the elimination draw, that we are able to continue to fund and support many worthwhile causes in our local community. Since 1946, our club has raised and returned more than $400,000.00 to local community projects. In the last 12 months alone, more than $18,000.00 has been donated to many worthwhile causes. We thank you for your generosity in the past and respectfully solicit your continuous support so that we are able to continue to serve our community.
