Tim Bryson, who is in his senior year at Emmanuel Bible College, Kitchener, brought the morning message, with scripture from Mark 5: 21 - 43 and I Thess. 1: 1-3. Paul gave thanks to God for faith,, love, and hope found in the church at Thesselonica, Bryson said. Faith produces works. Love is a verb and is hard work. Hope and endurance goes hand in hand and many seek for hope in a negative manner. Jairus, who was a synagogue ruler and a pious Jew, set aside everything to come to Jesus when his daughter was ill. He had faith to believe that Jesus would heal his daughter as he recognized the supremacy of God. His faith could have been dampened when someone said his daughter was dead but Jairus displayed not only his faith but love and hope. Fathers! "Do you display faith, love and hope?" Bryson asked.
