Optimists raise
funds for school
An all-you-can-eat pancake
breakfast, a car wash and wagon
rides for the children are a great
way to spend Saturday, June 8 from
9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Blyth Public
School.
This Optimist Club of Blyth and
District fundraiser is to help with
the Blyth Public School's Creative
Playground Project. The new
creative playground will be made
mostly of steel, replacing the 15-
year-old wooden equipment. The
wooden structure had to be
removed because it failed to meet
safety standards. All proceeds from
the mornings activities will go
towards this fundraising project.
The Optimist Club has planned
