He was the beloved husband of Jean McArter and loving brother of Cleve Davidson of Kitchener, Eloyce (Lolly) McCauley of St Marys, Audrey Flewelling and Doreen Wilson, both of Miller Lake. Mr. Davidson will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Rev. Cam McMillan officiated at the service, April 20, at Betts Funeral Home, Brussels. Interment at Brussels Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Founda- tion or the Canadian Cancer society would be appreciated. SHIRLEY E. VINCENT Shirley E. Vincent of Blyth, passed away at her residence, April 14, 1996. A loving wife, devoted to family and music, Mrs. Vincent was a music teacher who was dedicated to young children and music stu- dents. Born in Brussels 64 years ago to the late John Harold and Edith S. (Staines) Phillips, Mrs. Vincent was the beloved wife of R, Ray Vincent, whom she wed in 1951 at Blyth United Church. She was the loving mother of Mark Vincent of Toronto and the dear sister of Ann Juhasz of Chica- go, Jean Harris of Paisley, Jessie McKay of Clinton, Doreen and Clint Wilson of Auburn, Paige and Nick Tzannes of Toronto and Harold and Marjorie Phillips of London. She was predeceased by brother Phil Phillips. Rev. Stephen Huntley officiated at the April 17 service at Beattie-Falconer Funeral Home, Blyth. Interment at Blyth Union Ceme- tery. Pallbearers were Steve Little, Bill Black, James Mason, Doug Whit- more, Ed Watson and Ralph McCrae. KENNETH J. BLACK Kenneth J. Black of Cambridge, passed away at Cambridge Memo- rial Hospital, April 17, 1996, at the age of 52. Born in Wingham, Mr Black attended SS No. 13 East Wawanosh and F.E. Madill Secondary School, Wingham. During his youth in Ontario, he was involved in 4-H, showing beef cattle and helping show horses. He moved to Brandon, Manitoba in 1972, for a time, before returning to Ontario. Mr. Black was currently employed by Hyndman Transport, Wroxeter, as a coast to coast truck driver. He was a member of Knox Unit- ed Church, Belgrave. Mr. Black is survived by wife, Loma of Brandon Manitoba, dear friend, Fernida Hastings of Cam- bridge, son Jamie and daughter Joan, both of Brandon, parents Stanley and Leona (White) Black of Belgrave, sister Lila and Leroy Rintoul of RR2, Lucknow, and brothers Harvey and his wife, Barb Black and Bryan Black, all of Bel- grave. He is also survived by nine neices. Mrs. Elly Van Bergen officiated at the April 20 service at McBumey Funeral Home, Wingham. Interment at Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave. Pallbearers were Leonard Robin- son, Roger Beiman, Bob Taylor, Don McDowell, Barry Logan and Eldon Cook. (Betty) Hoegy of Queensvilla, Blyth, passed away in Kitchener, April 18, 1996, at the age of 59. Miss Hoegy served the needs of others throughout her life, as a nurse at Listowel Memorial Hospi- tal and Clinton Public Hospital. She was a member of Blyth Unit- ed Church. Daughter of the late Clifford S. and Blanche R. (Rowland) Hoegy, she leaves to mourn her passing sis- ter Norma and her husband, Barry Eveleigh of Kitchener and brother Barry and his wife, Karen Hoegy of RR1, Walton. Rev. Riehl of Blyth, pissed away At Clinton Public Hospital, April 19, 1996. Mrs. Riehl was a member of the Blyth Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Blyth United Church. Born in Hullett Twp. to the late Willie and Grace Edna (Eno) Bromley, 77 years ago, Mrs. Riehl was the beloved wife of the late William J. Riehl (1986) and the loving mother of Frieda and Ray Adams of Kitchener, Dorothy Oster of Clinton, Mel and Rosemary Riehl of Okotoks, Alberta, Clarence and Loma Riehl of High River, Alberta, Barbara and Ray- mond Cook of Seaforth, David Riehl of Glencoe, Brian and Tracy Riehl of Ayr and Ken and Deb Riehl of London. She was prede- ceased by an infant daughter. Mrs. Riehl was the much loved grandmother of 25 grandchildren, 8 great-children and the dear sister of Charles Bromley of Blyth, Harold Bromley of Seaforth, Willis Bromley of Londesboro and Jean Alexander of Clinton. Interment at Blyth Union Ceme- tery. The April meeting of the Cheerio Club was held on Wednesday, April 17. We had lunch at the Hillcrest Restaurant and then proceeded to the home of Laura Lyon. Edythe opened with a poem, I'm Special. Audrey Thompson had a reading I'm Fine. Laura read about Thomas Edison. Edythe had another reading and shared a story Greeters at Londesboro United Church on Sunday, April 21 were Helen Dale and Mary Peel. Ushers were Darryl Postma and Kim Roetcisoender. Baptized was Wyatt Wm. Bruce Carey, son of Kevin and Brenda Nesbitt-Carey. Kevin Carey became a member of the church. on the "Primer", which those over 60 will well renfember. Beth read Springtime. Roll call was answered by 10 members. The draw, donated by June Fothergill, was won by Audrey Thompson. Edythe gave the treasurer's report. A donation of $100 is being given to the Londesboro Lions Club to help with the hall renovations. The second scripture, Luke 24: 13-35 was read by -Yvonne Hoggart.
