Blyth church plans dinner for April Fools A troupe of Charlie Chaplins from the Church of God, Blyth, wondered the streets Saturday afternoon, promoting the upcoming free spaghetti supper scheduled for Monday, April 1. On Monday night, the Blyth Church of God, is holding their second annual Free Spaghetti Dinner at the Blyth Community Centre. Last year's overwhelming turnout demanded a larger facility to accommodate this year's diners. All proceeds from this event will go towards renovations already completed at the Blyth Church of God. How can a free dinner generate funds? True the dinner is free and it's all you can eat. As well there will be great entertainment which is also free. What's the catch? You must pay for the utensils you use to eat your supper with! In keeping with this year's theme, a troupe of Charlie Chaplins invaded the main street of Blyth, delivering posters to get the word out last Saturday. This solemn troupe waddled the business section inviting all to attend an evening of good food and great entertainment for the whole family. The mustached promoters included, Brittany Cook, Melissa Black, Hallie Hulzebos, Micah Loder, Rachel Morrison, Jason Hulzebos, Katie Cook, Brad Marsh, Craig Hackwell, Mary Marsh and Jackie Cook. The supper starts at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 1 at the Blyth Community Centre. For advanced tickets call 519-523-4590 or get your tickets at the door. Cost is $2.50 per utensil. Children under six arc free. • GOODS • SERVICES • TRADES nOan Raymond Chartered Accountants Management Consultants Canadian Member Firm of Grant Thornton International 152 Josephine Street P.O.
