Safety first
With Farm Safety Week just completed, approximately 40
Brussels area youth attended a safety seminar organized
by The Ark, Brussels. The youngsters learned about fire
hazards, played farm safety games, learned about
chemical handling and dirt bike safety. Here, Jeff
McGavin of McGavin Farm Equime;tt,/Walton, tells the
children of the terrible tragedies which can occur if a
tractor rolls over or if a passenger falls. Alexis Patch,
centre, and Emily Cardiff listen intently along with group
mates.
