The family of the late Simon Hallahan would like to sincerely thank friends, relatives and neighbours for the many acts of kindness during the loss of a dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The floral tributes, prayers, masses, charitable donations, cards, letters, calls and delicious food brought to our homes by the neighbours are all very much appreciated. A special thank you is extended to Dr. Hay for his excellent care over the past years as well as to Home Care for their excellent care of Simon at his home. Particular thanks to Rev. Father Mark Poulin, and Rev. Father John Pluta for officiating at the funeral service, as well as to everyone who took part in the funeral; pallbearers, flower bearers, reader, alter servers, and to Mike Hallahan for the history of the Hallahans he had prepared, as well as the Knights of Columbus who stood in an Honour Guard both at the funeral home and at the church. We would also like to thank the C.W.L. for serving the delicious lunch following the funeral service.
