Mr. Vair made reference to Mary pouring a whole bottle of expensive perfume on Jesus' feet and compared it to lives today. For genuine conversion, people need total devotion to Jesus. They live in a day of religious experiences without genuine conversion, he said. In fact, some who lead others to Christ are not genuine Christians themselves. With true conversion we leave the management of our lives up to God. The longer you live in God's life the more you sin. The strongest temptation we have is to serve other Gods. Materialism, sex, power, the list goes on. There is only one God worthy of our worship. Why? Because we were worthy enough to die for and He would not have gone to the cross if it were otherwise. He said, "Today people are looking to spirituality more than ever. Our Health Care System recognizes spiritual needs are very important in total health module." Following the sermon, induction ceremony took place. New elders inducted were Shirley Fyfe, Fred Meier Sr. and Jim Wilson while stewards were Earl Fyfe and Warren Moore.
