The Londesboro Community is once again "Hamming It Up" for the renovation project of the "Londesboro Community Hall". On Saturday, March 16 there will be a ham supper limited to 300 seatings. Following the meals, plans are in the works for a Spring Fling evening of fun and frolic based on the concept of the Summer Fun Night held last year. Performers and those with ideas for the Spring Fling are asked to contact Lion Dave Overboe or any other Londesboro Lion so that we can begin planning and co- ordinating the program. The meal will be prepared by the Londesboro Lions with a lot of help from our friends. The evening will give everyone a chance to review the extensive renovations that have been completed to date. Donations to date total over $26,000 or just about 67 per cent of the original total. Due to unforseen problems, however, the Lions have spent about $28,000 of the original estimate of the project cost of $38,000. This means there is still some ways to go to achieve the project goal. It should be noted that these figures do not account for the several hundred hours of volunteer time by the men and women of the community. The March 16 "Ham It Up For Hallways" will be set up so that individuals can pay for their meal and the entertainment will be included. Tickets will be availble from any Londesboro Lion and at the major retail outlets in Londesboro.
