COMPUTER AND COUNT CLUB
At Tuesday noon several Grade
6, 7 and 8 students gather in the
library, to add up grocery tapes and
play on the computers. Why you
ask?
Two years ago our librarian, Mrs.
Webster, found herself knee deep
in grocery tapes (just a slight
exaggeration) and thought some
students might like going on the
arrives. Correspondence from hun-
dreds and in some cases thousands
of miles is continuing to build up in
interest and in numbers. Several
letters are received on an almost
computer as a reward for adding up
grocery tapes. She was right
because there are now 16 students
in the club.
We collect Scrimgcour, Zehrs
and Wingham Valu-Mart grocery
tapes. The proceeds from these go
towards computer software and
books. We would appreciate

port from the people of Blyth and
the surrounding area to make this
the type of reunion it should be.

ings could be useful in other areas,

to turn left onto Victoria St. and ran
into the back end of it.
Campbell was taken to Clinton
hospital by ambulance with minor

Taking advantage of winter
When their playground equipment had to be removed due
to safety regulations, the staff and students of Blyth Public
School came up with the idea of an outdoor skating rink.
With a little help from the fire department, a smooth
skating surface was created. Testing their blades are,
