Friday night the Bulls travelled to Kincardine where they were edged by the home team by 5-2. The Bulldogs had a good lead going out of the first, having scored three goals, while shutting out the Bulls. Brian Nichol put the visitors on the board in the second, but. the team was down once again by three at period end. Peter Ryter brought them within two in the third, but the Bulldogs kept chipping away scoring more to keep them ahead by three. On Sunday, in Brussels, the con- test was much tighter as an empty netter in the third gave the Bulldogs a badly needed insurance goal. Chris Lorenz notched one in the first for the home team, which ended the period in a tie. After Tim Beyer drove one home in the sec- ond, the Bulls went into the third with a 2-1 lead. Unfortunately the tenacious Bull- dogs didn't give up, scoring not only one to tic, but also the tie- breaker in the third. Bulls Coach Charlie Smith pulled the goalie to spur his team on, but the advantage worked instead for the visitors who tagged on one more to go home victorious by a score of 4-2. The series continues in Kincar- dine this Friday night. Blyth began to take over in the second and built a 4-1 lead by the end of the period.
